Do you reckon just cutting out the cat from the standard cans would free up the flow sufficiently to run map2 and also make them sound better but not full-on loud like coring?
 
I did it with some of mine. I just drilled a 1.5" hole through the cats as a quick fix when I was 'inbetween cans'. Ran fine on map 2 and was slightly louder. Actualy did a track day like that and the bike ran perfectly.



Cats a fuggin rock hard mate so expect some swearing and to get through a few drill bits. I used hole saws. 3 of em :eek

Yes, but why **** about ? Just core the rascals :thumbup Theres a thead on the 'how to' forum that is excellent. I do it almost the same except I drill loads of small holes around the cat and then bash them out instead of using a chisel :yes. Cost about 50 squid fot tackle.
