Ive had mixed results with muc off like, bizzarley has worked better on other bikes than on the RSV
i know what your saying actually. my old zx6r used to look awesome after cleaning with muc off. i think its the paint on the aprilia which makes it not look quite as good after cleaning. as much as i love the paint scheme, the matt black somehow never looks like ive made any effort to clean it up. ive never used polish on it yet though, is it worth it?

Mate this is uncanny, it was a zx9r I had that looked ace after muc off lol! Must be the plastics! Ive never tried to polish but I do give the metal a bit clean and towel dry to try and avoid streakyness.
yeh that is weird! i so loved that bike though it always looked great after a quick clean. ive found on the aprilia that if i have missed a bit of mucoff when rinsing the bike off then on certain parts like my dash surround, headlight framework, brake resorvoir cap and grips i get a kind of white greasy residue which stays for ages. i seem to get through a lot of the stuff aswell.

Nooj (who is the bike cleaning ACE) reckons muc-off and similar types are full of salt and is pretty nasty on metal parts - just make sure you rinse thoroughly - which on these bikes insn't the best of plans with the lecky

I use car alloy wheel cleaner on mine - can't remember the brand, but it's the 'universal' one that comes with a little round brush - spray on, brush in, rinse off, works a treat! Asda were doing a deal on sone car stuff a couple of weeks back & I got 2 for £5...
