I think i fried my rear caliper seals yesterday, not checked them yet but they were warm disc and pads were blue and i couldn't touch the caliper. Where can i get some new seal from look on ebay nothing.:confused

I've bought seals etc from them before & they provide a good service but a word of warning don't let them refurbish your calipers for you, seen some right horrors that these monkeys have done on other forums :eek:

I just bought seals and other caliper parts. I was not aware that the services they offer might not be up to scratch. The guy I spoke to was knowledgeable and helpful, and the parts were sent promptly and reasonably priced.

Buying them from KTM dealers seems to be the way forward
But there was a scooter shop on eBay that'd did kits for this
 
Ok thanks for all the advice, i just buy the seals and replace them myself.:cool3:cool3
 
why the excessive heat?

you've not changed the brake lever or altered it's adjustment by any chance?

Are well here we go change mastercylinder to a ducati one bleed brake up still not happy with it so had a word we my car mechanic he GAVE me some racing brake fluid got an ok brake, top up the reservoir put in a little bit too much but thought f%$k it.Going to snetterton got about 15 miles down the road bike starts to play up when i slowed down for an island got to the next and the rear brake was solid caliper red had smoke pouring off it pump some brake fluid out it was STEAMING took out the pads and went to snetterton.
A GOOD DAY HAD BY ALL
