hi mate just looked at the switch set up, and let me say 1st i have only change the oil and air filter on my bike so far, follow the wires back to the plug, (im thinking it should join onto the main loom, and you should be able to unplug and plug in a new one right,) now unplug them and bridge them with a piece of the same type of wire, if you have a piece with two male/female one each end, you should be able to plug into were the stand switch plugged in to,:) and not cutting anything so if it is that u can go get a new one and if not you havent cut wires

Think he was on about this !!!

who's the chick in the pic ritch? the mrs?

Gonna take it to the garage, get a new sidestand switch or bypass it and a new cut off switch and see what happens, probably still happen even though, seen another bike that tickles my fancy.
