With the closedown of Buell the 1125R & CR seem to be bargins :dunno

The Buell is a V twin made by Rotex.... same as our beloved RSV....

Anybody riden both ??? any comparisons, or completely different ??

Never ridden either mate but with them going out of business I would be concerned about support/parts in future:dowhat

thought the buell was powered by a hardly davidson lump hence the reason they bought them and the reason they are shutting it down not selling it

With the use of Rotax then spares for the lump shouldn't be a problem but other parts would worry me

Rotex engines, specifically made for Buell :)
Parts will be available for 10 years, and come with a 2 year warranty, backed by HD :)

Hi
I work for a harley/buel dealer I have riden the 1125 & it is rapid dit it it is like a .75 sized bike, great but small.

The early Rotax engined ones had some serious issues, fuelling, etc., - a lot of reports at the time said the thing just wasn't properly sorted before they released it - so much so that they had to have a weird sort of 'relaunch' of the same bike which was basically a tacit admission that they'd screwed up and had now fixed it ... except a lot of the mags reckoned they still hadn't got it 100 per cent.
Add to that the fact that they're ugly as **** and I'd say a pristine S1 Lightning would be a much better investment.
