just checked the yellow wires in the brown plug all ok butt followed wiring to a big white round plug with the 3 yellow wires in pulled it apart and its burnt out cut wires fixed back together I have 13.7.to 13.8 at tick over and 13.3 to 13 .4 at 4000 rpm is that ok ore is there a fault all help appreciated kev :thumbdown

Agreed sounds like you have cracked it,that's a healthy reading for any 12v charging system :thumbup
my bike is gen 1 its at back right hand side take pillion seat of and just on right hand side of sub frame you will see the 3 yellow wires and brown plug the big white one is under tank just near idle adjuster :thumbup
