will the speedo stop working on my r if i change the bolts to stainless steel ,on rear disk,ones old ones are manky?

Hi Murf

I had to change my titaniun bolts back to the OEM as the speedo stopped working, not sure about the stainless, think they might be ok.

Be careful I think it works on magnetism,and St/Stl bolts are not generally very magnetic.

Think you need ferrous heads to provide the necessary signal,probably better off replacing with new standard bolts?

Or get some smootrite silver and paint em ..............they look great afterwards...............if your a tight get like me.
