The Fens.
Anyone from the zone going?I'll probably be there on saturday with the family.
Good place to pick up a deal on clothing, helmets and bits.Hoping the weather stays good,...there's been some wet 'uns in the past.
BMF usually stands for big muddy field.

Well that was the worst BMF show ever. What few stalls were there were all spread out to make it look bigger. No 'Prillas,Triumphs or Yamaha's.Most of the displays were very poor.Hooray for Harley,Ducati and BMW for bringing a load of bikes in to test.
Looked at the Beowulf stand and nearly splashed out on a set of rad/oil cooler guards(£40).Everything had at least £10 off and the can seconds were dirt cheap.Pipewerx cans looked good too,a lot better than they look in the pics.Motrax alloy paddock stands were going for around £20 and the usual great discounts on leathers.Sadly all the stuff I dont need!
Here's me feeding my Harley fetish, trying and failing to look mean and moody.

£40 for a Tuonewno? I hope not as I have just paid £45 for sh Beowulfs ... no problem with that because I need them with all the stones and **** on the roads round me.

Pipewerx cans are tremendous value and quality by the way and they sound fookin awesome

2010 NEC was bloody ace ... but I might never have gone as 2009 was utter ****

Unless manufacturers and suppliers support events they will die

West Midlands Game Fair is a great example ...

It gets smaller every year

They rip exhibitors etc off to such a degree that many say "**** it ..." and refuse to attend

I think it costs about £900 to pitch a doughnut van ... and at 50p / doughnut you are hardly likely to make a killing are you?

Gun dealers are so desperate to sell "something" that on the last day bargains can be had. I bought an 8-shot 12 bore semi auto shotgun ... brand new for £450 because the guy was sooo desperate to go home with cash

And a £30 landing net for £6

And some top quality fly lines for £10

But those vendors will probably never go back

Sigh
