Are you talking about the 'ears' a.k.a. wind deflectors? If Boyler can't do them for you I'm supposed to be getting some spares and they will be WAY cheaper than that.
And andiRSV just had some carbon ones he paid £40 for!

If you're not going through your insurance then there is no reason to use pricey original parts - especially as aftermarket ones can often be superior quality.

By the way, what do you mean by the 'mirror cup'? I just bought a new mirror and it came with a plastic insert that goes between the fairing and the alloy fairing bracket - I think this has the cup in (not going outside to check as it's too cold!). If this is the part you want then you're welcome to it as I used the original one - it's a left hand one but I'm pretty sure they're the same. Only a small tick off your parts list, I know, but every little helps eh? Let me know if you need it.

PS. You know you can get plastic welded.

bugger man, really sorry to hear about that. I'm in the same boat as you, I have no choice and like you, behind car wheels I fall asleep! I lost the back slightly on the M25 today in the fast lane ... bit heavy with the wrist. Guess i'm lucky as i got a little slide going, bit of back wobble and a lose sphincter.... it was a gentle reminder and its worked.


About the only spares I have are original cans but as you say yours aren't damaged, im afraid, apart from sympathy I can't really help. (I lost my R6 years ago because of ice so I do know where your coming from)
