I did a quick photoshop and I quite like the idea of a red seat, does anyone know if its possible to buy a cover or do I have to take it to a specialist?

Just re-trim it yourself, it's not hard.
If you don't want to have a go yourself, pop in to your local upholster/retrimmer specialist and ask them kindly.
If your unsure if you have an upholster/retrimmer specialist then I can guarantee your local Ferrari dealer will, alternatively you can Google it.
PS. Seat looks very smart in red but needs the Italia logo like those Sargent seats have.

Ferrari dealer that sounds expensive lol, I'll see if I can find a local jobby, im sure theres someone around here, I've tried to do it once before and Im useless at it 
I used to work for TVR and did a few years of retrimming leather interiors etc....
Regrettably this was not my forte, so I didn't do it often. Bloody hard work getting it just right but the end result makes it all worth while.

V Senna - mine is trimmed in red on the 'side' bit. That leaves it red on the sit on bit. Looks great. See a piccie in the midweek riders thread. Problem is, I don't know who did it as it was on when I bought it.

Yes I did. Quite easy to fit. Bit of a pain to hide the unit out of sight but awesome effect. (Only done for the dip bulb). Very, very occasionally it doesn't fire up but a quick flick to main and back and it's in business.
Tend to agree with that observation. That's why I'm glad mine only has red panelling on the side. I also spruce it up now and again with special red polish.
