So after some charging problems, I decided to replace my entire charging system and re-wire the R/R. I replaced the stator with a new one from RMStator and tested it after installation, getting 60+ VAC across all 3 pairs, whereas previously one pair was low. So stator is definitely good and sending correct power. The stator's wires go to the Shindengen FH020AA R/R that I re-located to the right rear tail frame. When I connect the stator up, I hear a click from the R/R and bike turns on fine. I measured the output from the R/R +/- and it's ~3 VDC. Now, the problem is when I connect the R/R output +/- directly to the battery, the bike will turn over, but won't start? Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
