Hi guys, I got a strange case here. This happenned two me at least three times this summer. When I try to start the bike after a short 15 minutes break of hot summer day riding (30 degrees celsius), the bike wont start up. The starter turns healthy but the bike refuses to start. It takes sometime up to 3 or 4 tryouts befores it fires up. When it does this, the ecu indicator shows up. When it does start up, it's without any hesitation. Like there was no problem at all. What could cause this? Battery is new and goes well btw. Thank

Try a new set of spark plugs. They could be shot or running too hot. You can tell by the Colour of the tip when you take the old ones out. If you google the colours you will find them.

Ok thanks, i'll check them out. What troubles me the most, is that when the bike actually fires up, theres absolutly no hesitation. It's not like a difficult start.

Sound like your plugs could be oiling up a bit. Worth a look anyway, also it may be your temperature sensors on your water or oil sending a wrong reading to the ECU making out the engine is too hot. (Which would explain your ECU light)

Is the bike not overheating? Another thing could be the coil packs that may need some replacement.

Well, il seems I may have found the problem. My fuel line was pinched between the fuel tank and the rear cylinder head. As a result, the fuel line is damages and has a small leak. Maybe some air is sucked in the line and is causing me some issues.
