Ok guys, I just put a new solenoid on my 01 millie. Now the bike will start up if I let it sit but won't idle. Sometimes when I hit the start button the bike says no start on the dash. Any ideas?

Gotta be a clutch or sidestand switch loose or faulty.
For the no start on the dash I mean.
The poor idle could be a sensor issue, have you connected the diagnostic connectors to see if a code is stored?

No, this is my first aprilia and I have not had it very long. Aprilias seem to be a little more complicated than the jap 4's.
I had the same problem the other day on the dash it had no start on it played with the gear leaver a bit and it started it was a new one on me to
I just tried to shift the gears around then put it back in neutral but no luck.
So it just says no start on the dash then?
Try pulling in the clutch.
Make sure the sidestand is folded away.
The bike is in neutral and the dash light is illuminated.
If these are all OK then you have an issue, may even be a switch that has some bad contacts.
So was it starting and idling before you fitted your solenoid?
