Bike smells like it is running rich

I took it to the local dealer today to check and it is running Map2. It smells like gas most of the time, the dealer said not to worry about it. I asked if a PCv and custom map would help. He told me to leave it alone.

It has Arrow twin exhaust and if they come with DB killers mine doesn't have them.

What are y'alls thought on this. My first Aprilia so not sure if it is normal or not.

Map 2 open cans it will be fine

Mine has had this set up from new Akrapovic and map 2 never been an issue still going strong and yes it does smell of petrol sometimes.

Thanks, it had the Map2 probably since the original owner put the Arrow cans on, just the 2nd owner for the last 6 years didn't know to ask. I would rather it be rich than lean. I will just run her and now worry about it.

yep mine always smells rich , 2or 3 mates have always said mine smells like its pouring unburnt fuel out of the exhausts .

mine is on map 2 with akropovic cans .
