Windy thanks look like what I need. :biggrin

Did you see the disclaimer in the advert? "this lift does not come with the illustrated motorcycle" lol :dunno

Here a dumb question, whats to stop the motorcycle justfalling off?(without straps). I assume it's wide enough to use the sidestand, or paddock stands?

There’s a clamp at the front of the of the lift but I always use tie down's
The lift's not wide enough to use a side stand but my rear paddock stand fits on the back when the rsv's on and when the old un is on I use the centre stand
Have a look in my garage (I still carnt work out how to post pics:dunno???)

Just a word or two of advice...

If you get one like this (Sealey MC400) with a vice wheel clamp (clamp on the far side in this pic); be sure to put a mousepad or something similar between the jaw and the wheel on each side, as the jaws tend to touch the rim - not just the tyre - when tightened.

This one will hold the bike on its side stand while I position the paddock stand. I put a 4cm block of wood under the sidestand, as I want it more upright.

IMHO one of the best bits of kit in the garage - shame it sits under a ton of junk that takes an hour to shift!

Must've been a 'tidy day'!!!

Kitchen units are courtesy of the German policy on fixtures & fittings when renting a flat. You rent a flat bare (no sink, taps or light bulbs) and are expected to vacate it in the same condition.:roll So, when moving from the UK to Germany, you have to buy all the kit (usually a quick trip to Ikea) and when returning to the UK, suddenly have a spare set of kit.

I got this, easyrizer £100 off ebay, £300 new. can get different fitiings to lift using wheels or for various types of bikes and doesn't take up much room when not in use
