Gadgies....has any one got opinions on which is a suitable bike intercom. Do they work well etc etc?

Slomo,

Depends if you mean bike to bike or rider and pillion.
I have the autocom on me other bike and it works fine rider to pillion, can play music and also hear sat nav. It does involve plugging into the bike, but they now do a bluetooth version. For clearer music I have custom fit in ear speakers, better quality but again means more wires.

Have never used any bike to bike set ups.

It was the rider/pillion one I was thinking about. Do they need plugged into the bike. If so how can that be done?...or is that for a different thread?

I also have the AUTOCOM system, I use it for rider to pillion, and also bike to bike and it is faultless! I did have the cardo scala rider system but they are not in the same league as the Autocom. Got my phone connected to the Autocom as well and I was rather surprised at how well it works.

Autocom for me as well, rider to pillon or bike to bike all work superbly and an easy fit.

Just added the bluetooth to it so everything is now wireless, only one wire now attaching helmet to system.

Thanks for the replies. Someone has recommended graytronics, anyone tried these? Also, and this might sound like a stupid question, but can these be heard if you are wearing earplugs?

Aye nae problems with ear plugs in, just turn up the volume on the Autocom a wee bit
