This only started yesterday (9-1-21). I have a 2007 Tuono 1000R with 8100 miles ( I think it’s a factory due to the dual exhaust? I’m the third owner ). The bike runs strong but when I hold the clutch and begin to coast the engine dies. It’ll start right back up with the ignition button. If I slightly crack the throttle it’ll keep running while holding the clutch. Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it?

Does the bike idle at a stand still? Or do you need to blip the throttle to keep it running?

Sounds relatively simple.

The bike runs normal when I first ride it. After it gets to operating temp is when this will happen. During this issue, yes I have to lip the throttle to keep it running. Let the bike sit for 3-4 minuets age it’ll cost fine. Nothing else has changed and there are no new smells.

I would check the voltage when it is hot. Look into Rectifier problems as well.
Check those items out if you have access to a multi meter. I believe there are are few checks that can be made.
