Morning all, first time on here so please be gentle with me!

Got a 02 plate RSVR Mille and for some reason I'll be riding along happy as Larry and the bike will just cut out and lose all power. I look down at the dash after making sure there's no-one behind me and the EFI letters are flashing, tried restarting on-the-go but no joy. I pull over and it'll re-start on the button and run for the next two hours fine as if nothings happened.

I did have a bad connection with the fuel pump wires a while back but i've sorted the connections out and theres no bad ones so I'm a bit stumped now. New EFI chip perhaps? Anyone shed any light on my predicament? Thanks a lot.

Hiya buddy does it happen at a particular part of the rev range or is totally random

If the EFI light is flashing there should be some fault diagnosis codes stored in the dash. If you search on here, or check the 'how to' forum you'll find how to put the bike in diagnosis mode to get these. What the codes mean is also on this site and perhaps the above forum. Hope that helps mate :thumbup

I'll have a go, ta.

It's totally random, no particular part of the rev range. Oh yeah, only when i go over a bump aswell, sorry, forgot to mention. Blonde day!

possibly a bad earth mate, im currently having a problem with my ignition barrel but thats down to the accident i had, might be worth checking the diag code 1st off then go from there buddy
Good luck

there should be 2 diagnosis wires seperated under yor seat area mate, connect them together to get you fault code on screen/dash.
