you know im special neil baby.x
so its deffo not an official colour then,is what i was getting at.

I have to say the Aprilia seem to punt out no end of variations on a theme as standard.....I think the guys in their paint shop get very bored and come in to work each day thinking...'right, what can we get away with today!!?' tri colour, blue, yellow, silver/grey...etc. It certainly means that you rarely see two identical bikes!

Your bike Big Un, is a 2003 model RSV Mille looking at the rear tail section. The first thread shows a 2002 model RSV Mille. Yours should look like this 2003 model.

Your bike looks to of had the red lower fairing decal removed and replaced with a white "Aprilia". The front fairing decals have been removed too. Also you have the earlier yellow and blue IP decals rather than the black 2003 decals. The tank looks to be 2002 model too, and the air intake ducts have 2002 decals.

In fact Big Un, it looks as if your bike is a 2002 model RSV mille with a 2003 model rear tail section

i thought they were all the same,i.e all the yellow uns are identical, black uns, blue uns ect?

true legs,it looks newt like that fooker!
even the back end, mine has v60 on the white decal, not in red on the black part
of the tail unit.my ip sticker is yellow and blue and it has the red aprilia on the side of the tank.

Might be.....I'm usually going too fast to look closely....what I'm attempting to suggest is that the 'standard' colours seem to be in short runs, so there appear to be a diversity in the paint schemes....ably assisted by owners who then proceeed to 'individualise' them!

true matey, doesnt make any difference to me,lol,
just wondered if it was this colour due to it being foreign or sumat.
i know its had some cosmetic damage in the past, hence why i got it for £2000
with 8000 mile on the clock.she's a beauty either way and i luv it.

i have seen black and white decals on ebay, if its had cosmetic damage that would certainly explain the different decals having a different tail section could be a bit worrying but i think yours looks better with the grey decals, the red belly pans can be a bit too flashy sometimes

they all get that personel touch in the end some one stopped me n said not seen to many like my yellow one thought it had been down road til i learnt diffrent. bits get added and removed:thumbup

if its an 03 model you should be able to tell from the engine code
Well it works for 03 models with the radial brakes & ohlins kit on
