What are the best tyres, including wet riding 2001 mille

I have pilots. But i run Pirellis on my other bike and have no issues. With tyre technology the way it is, is there such a thing as a 'best' tyre anymore? I like the look of the Continental Road Attack. This having been said, I do all my riding on the road.... tt

Metzler M5 all the way. Tried the rest.
They blew me away.

Pilot 2ct .. Fantastic
Pilot Pure .. Not so fantastic
Power race .. Brilliant if you want a 3 day tyre
The Metzler, Instills so much confidence ... Phenomenal ( so far )

Mind you I ride two up, and hard. But so far it's shaping up as my
Tyre of choice .. Hard middle Soft sides and sticky as edges...

Only my opinion.

I put the M5s on last year, brilliant tyre....best ive used in the wet and excellent in the dry. I cant remember how many miles I got out of the rear but it wasnt as many as I was expecting. I'm fitting them again so I must like em.
