Personally I run -1F, +2 rear, hits indicated 169 mph at the limiter
Renthal front and Talon rear.

For your bike, 15 front 42 rear, i.e one tooth less front, 2 teeth more rear. Also standard 106 length chain is fine

i want easy clearance (pick up) not the top end..

run 15/42 on my SP1..

OK, then 15/42 is the way to go as others have recommended, i run 15/43 on mine and that is still OK on 106 links
