Best oil for RSV mille

Some use 15w50....some use 10w40....some use semi synth some use fully synth.....been covered to death this topic, long as you change it when you should i dont think it matters much

I have always used Motul in every bike ive had, 15-50 for the Mille semi synth.

a good quality semi synth is what you should be looking for mate either 10w40 or 15/50 either are good mate!

I was told once that switching between types and make of oil can result in clutch problems and that it won't get better the first few oil changes. Anyhing in that ?

I know that some bikes are very pickie with what oil you put in, especially clutch-wise. My old vfr was one of those.

I agree with Mark, Motul 15W50 semi-synthetic is the best Oil I've come across for the Mille, been running mine on it for almost the last 7 years soild, but as BB1000 said, everyone has different preferences on oil...

Oil is like Tyres and Women, find one you like and stick with it

I use Rock Oil, does what it says on the Tin, just use the right grade

I heard somewhere that 10w40 helps find neutral. is this rubbish or not.

I've had Motul 10W40 in my engine as well as the usual 15W50 semi-synth and I didn't feel any difference what so ever in finding neutral easier or where the clutch was concerned - But the other guys on here may have had different results.....

I have been using Rock Oil Guardian Sigma for the last few years. It's been good in my R6 track bike, RSVR road bike & RSVR track bike. I usually buy in bulk to keep costs down.

Has anyone tried this? It looks a bit too cheap, but is probably fine for road if you are changing it every 2 or 3k.
