What is the best mod to do to a mille for £50?...opinions please?

ride to your nearest trackday and get your suspension set up by the experts. i think colin at 100% suspension charges £45 for the day

Well, cant speak from experience yet, but from reviews on here a Dr Rossi eprom chip is well worth it, think they are about £20/30. An MRA screen, possibly a 2nd hand hooked airbox (they are fantastic!), erm, yamaha starter solenoid, cbr1000rr sidestand, erm, bout all I can think of now, these beasts have expensive tendancies!

THESE WERE £40 OFF UK CUSTOM BIKE ON HERE VERY NICE QUALITY ANODISED ALLY:thumbup

Unfortunately we only have one track over here and even worse nobody is there to set you're suspension up...

sorry i've been on the vino

suspension set up by someone that know their onions £20
15t sprocket £15
1/2 day advanced training about £50
evening track session about £50 or snetterton for about £80
welding a larger plate on sidestand £10 (will save a fortune in later repairs)
doing complete service on bike yourself £50 or less
sticking £50 juice in the tank and just riding it

that should cover it, it's the law of diminishing return after that

That sounds good to me fella!!

Given what I know now I think the best mod is to go through the bikes electrics like a man possessed with some dielectric grease.

It's sure to save you some heartache later on.

Do the brown connector mod next and lastly invest in a HID headlamp kit and ride at night, it sharpens your skills and you can have so much fun as theirs no cars around to spoil your fun.

Alternately spend a little more dosh and buy a Hooked air box and have your throttle bodies and CO set up by a man in the know. :doug

fit a smaller front sprocket then fill the tank with juice..and ride the **** off ya bike:devious

if you've only got £50 put it away..save a bit more and buy a hooked airbox ...best bhp per £ mod you can do:thumbup

Believe me, if i could get a hooked air filter for 50 quid i'd take it!!
I thought DrRossi's chips would be more expensive...

Steal some mony from somewhere then see my post in the FOR SALE section and buy my bits. Hooked airbox, Rossi chip and crash bungs. What more do you need. Leave the 16/44 sprockets till you've bought my bits:devious

Fill her with juice and go play on that mountain ...... Best race track in the world.....

Change the gearing. Best mod by far. 15/42 or 16/44 for older shape bikes dependend on chain replacement. 15/42 for newer shape RSVR and Factory

Dr Rossi chip is more like 70 euros = nearly £70 now

still well worth it

I was thinking about gearing to tell you the truth!!
