Well folks i went out for the test ride today and only planned on an hours worth of riding but it rolled into 3 and a full tank of fuel as well :doug The air filter conversion has done wonders to the performance and the induction noise is so addictive :thumbup Sounds like a real racing aprilia now with the free flowing air and pipe it seems this is what she really needed.

Recomended thats for sure ... and before anyone asks no it didnt catch fire :laugh:laugh Throttle to the stop geeeeez this thing is awsome :doug:thumbup
 
Looked like a tidy job aswell :thumbup, how long did it take you to do and cost ?
 
80 notes m8 and all weekend but that was from scratch with making temlpates and stuff...fitting and re fiting to make it spot on :thumbup
 
Fair play to you mate,its a right pain making it from scratch,well it looked like my mate was having aggro when HE made mine :biggrin

nothing wrong with it mate,just saying you done well,as making it from scratch takes a lot of measuring up,make a template,modify template and so on and so on.

i defo wasnt knocking ya

£80 was that mostly for the tufnel ? and what thickness was it, I might be able to get some from work :devious

Tufnal was £20 sprocker but like i said i got enough to do at least 4 and the stuff was delivered as well 1200x300x10mm :thumbup Big enough for a sideboard as some might say :devious The air filter and crankcase filter were quite expensive m8 but when you think what benefits you get form this mod i dont think £80 aint too bad at all :eatcorn

Ok ginga :thumbup no harm meant... i was just replying to this quote m8, when you said your m8 was having aggro making yours . It does take a lot of patience and more so if you havent an exact template although the tufnal is quite easy to shape :thumbup
