I run with 15 / 42 and TBH it feels great :yes if you are that way inclined it will wheely all day long :yes if not then it doesn't have to :no simples
I changed to 15/42 last year and without a doubt it suits the roads I ride, still don't do much/any town stuff but this combo makes the bike noticeably more responsive.
