Also what can make awe the difference is the helmet ventilation system. My Shoei XR1100 has a fine chin vent that demists in seconds when yer movin.
Saying all that if its lashing doon, yer soaked and ye stop despite whit ever ye have it,ll mist up. Only option then is tae pop yer visor a crack.
