A warning .
I recently changed my bike insurance to bennetts from MCE as they gave a cheaper quote . did all the necessary stuff on line paid over the premium , docs arrived thru e mail .I thought job done .
I have been riding bikes and have had ins for over 30 years , and since the advent of the electronic ins data base and e mail etc etc , I have never had to send proof of NCD .
out of the blue a snotty letter arrived from bennets asking for proof of NCD .to which I was slightly baffled .
when I rang bennetts to discuss I was told I was in the 20 % they ask for proof , as I satated the obvious and coudnt do this ( old policy docs deleted ).
I was told that if I didn't provide this within 7 days my policy would be cancelled , so I called MCE to resuest either they contact bennetts or e mail me proof of NCD .
of wich I have had neither , a further threatening letter arrived on Saturday from bennetts officially informing me that my ins policy will be canned in 5 working days
no iff s or buts
what a bunch of ***** , its so easy for them to verify this them selves , theyre just being bloody minded and awkward for the sake of it .
to cap it all I had a satisfaction survey emailed to me over the weekend fuckwitts .
needles to say they will not get any more business form me .
just be warned if this is how they treat new business imagine how awkward the may turn out to be in the course of making a claim
