Took the T out for the first time today, out for a couple of hours this afternoon, thank goodness for heated grips. Took it easy as on new tyres new bike and some shiny looking roads, but;

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

OMG found a bit of clear straight A road, 3 rd gear and rolled the power on wooooooooooosh. Handles nice and predicitably, very stable in the twisites. Blue flame cans sound great.

The previous owner has made some mods i had not known about, firstly they left the back brake pedal but no connection to any form of back brake !!
Secondly and im not sure i should share this but the last ownwe has replaced the engine with a ward drive !!!!!!! I dont need a throttle just a buttom marked "engage".

Love this bike sooooooo much :):):):)

now yer talkin sense at last P min, this is exactly whit we huv all been oan aboot! The big T grin factor!!!

p -you are know a fellow keeper of the best kept secret in biking - owning/riding a T :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

Yo p ya fud, I can't wait 'till the roads improve and yer really find oot whit there like.

worcester to brecon, black mountains or lakes very nice. Quick blasts from kidderminster to bridgenorth nice bikers meet cafe at bridgenorth end then back via bewdley

It's great isn't it, Pikey? You've not found the back brake then?? ( they're all like that).

Funny how you tell people how good the bike is but for some reason they just aren't sure. Mate of mine on his Fazer1000 just wouldn't even test ride one - scared of its reputation as an animal!!

My part of the world then Brecon and Black mountains. Aka_Gilo, Windum Miller and Tuboy often frequent the welsh roads. West End cafe meet up when weathers finer then Pikeman to put a face to the name then. Leave the Rottweiler in the house. U can bring the K9 if you want though lol

I sometimes use it for a work stop off during th week if I'm up around that way. Not many bikes around mid week though.

Big dipper for me please then onto Llandod and the Crossgates cafe. Lots of cafe stops

Bay...do you ride over breymen pass to westend cafe?????? not sure if thats correct spelling

Hi Ev. Is that the road you access via Lower Chapel and then ride over the army firing ranges (obviously on a day they're not firing) then drop down. I've been that way a few times but you have to watch out for the sheep on that road (story of our lives in wales especially when I'm driving my car through a flock of em). I've also been told there's a nice road down to Swansea if you carry straight on from the West End cafe which might be worth a look one day as they do some nice ice creams down there in the summer.
