I've been trolling fleabay and found the size I need for the dogbone, hk1812 x 6 £19.50 free postage (gap bearrings) just a little question will I need to remove the studs on the rear exhaust or can I get away wiv just dropping the link n springs cheers

Depends how much room there is between the linkage and the exhaust. Some have managed to wriggle the bolt out, while others have had to remove the headers.
Mine is fairly close but I managed to get the bolt out by just removing the springs and pushing the headers down slightly.I also cut down an old Allen key to stop the bolt from turning.

Order another two mucker and do the lot,,,,,,,wid be a pity not to do them when yer stripped it down so far.

The rear header on my gen 2 was too close to get an Allen key in or get the bolt out.

Had to take the rear header pipe off.

Ok thanks for the input will strip all out n wait for the bits to arrive cheers

My dog bone bearings were still full of grease, but my swinging arm pivot on sprocket side was looking a bit dry.

It's worth stripping the lot just to be sure.

I'm going to do mine - pretty sure I need to replace the bearings. does anyone know about getting the rubber seals outside of Aprilia? I seem to remember them being quite fragile...
