Cant believe my luck lately.
First up the wifes company went bust last Friday so she has lost any redundancy and Januarys money (until the government pays up).
Secondly I was in the garage today and thought 'I know I will start the T' then I noticed the optimate light was not on....****!
I plugged in the optimate (don't know who pulled out the plug) and the green light came on but none of the three battery condition lights came on :thumbdown
I then put the key in and turned it........................nothing, nada, deed, not even a click or dash light :banghead
I guess the battery is dead as I don't know how long the optimate has been off but I would guess its been right through the cold period.
I'll get round to testing the battery with my voltmeter in the next couple of days.
I've seen YTX12BS for £30 - £35. Is it worth putting a beefier battery on and if so what would you guys recommend (its a 2008 T).
