Can someone please text me if A 147MM HEIGH battery will fit on a 2001 rsv100r.ITS a varta YTX14BS, THE ONE THAT CAME OUT WAS A YTX12BS 131MM HEIGH.gOT TO SHOT OUT AND NEED THE ANSWER ASP, LIFE SAVER. PETER 07707273408.

Hi there...I bought a YTBX14 which is 147 tall for my '03 & although it's a tight squeeze the seat still appears to fit over it....only problem is the plastic retainer for the battery needs to be 'modified' to secure the battery. Hope this helps.

BTW the 14 will fit! as will the 12.

:thumbupJust got in thanks for that,will email battery man for the 14 model.I did email but no reply today funny because the non r model is listed with him as YTX14BS and the r model YTX12BS.
