Hi, I know there are a few posts about these on the forum but not many pics. or details of recommended places to buy from that I can find. I want some new bar end weights for my RSV1000R 2006. I was wondering if people could post some pics. of what is available and where to get them from. Do those on e-bay stated as universal fit? Does anyone do custom made ones? Does it make a lot of difference if the actual weight of the bar ends change in terms of vibration?

There's quite a few on ebay at the moment that are new genuine Aprilia ones..I've had a few bits from seller and always as described..

Try R&G racing ones, I have them on mine and they are just as good as genuine ones.

Here ya go.

Weight makes a lot of difference. My old Sprint RS had a very annoying tingle through the bars at high rpm, so I got a forum mate to make some solid stainless steel weights and they completely eliminated the vibes.

If you're having the same problem, try stuffing some strips of lead up inside the bars. If it works you can then silicon them into place.

Hi Phil, I bought mine (titanium) on eBay for my 04 Factory. Type in this number should bring them up: 180449569598

They are lighter than stock which I believe helps you turn the bike quicker (?) and simple to fit (no mods)

Titanium ones are more blue than titanium but look the dogs anyway.

Cheers,

Richard

After much research the weight of bar ends matters!

It seems strange having aluminium barends.

I have these which i designed and made, they are approx 20 grams lighter than standard but have over all dimentions the same. :thumbup
