G'day, just curious if anyone's had anything to do with a backfire through the inlet (throttle body)? there's flames and all kindsa ****! (through the rear cylinder)
I've got a 2005 RSVR and have just recently rebuilt the donk after a gearbox issue. I've double checked (triple checked even) the valve timing and that all seems fine. It won't idle and coughs and splutters, but anything above 3000RPM it runs sweet as a nut. I've replaced plugs, checked IAC valve thingo, replaced fuel filter and running 98 fuel (new stuff).
I did notice a few cracks in the inlet manifolds, so I smeared a thin film of silastic to try and eliminate that problem..(maybe it's not enough??)
Any advice would be most appreciated, cheers
