i've just gone t5hrough an austalian winter [ milder than some] with a set of power pures, great tire but sometimes took a while to get them warmed up, really good in the wet, i'm looking forward to summer with the hotter road temps, the pures should stick like you know what to a blanket

I've always loved QII's...but thought I'd give Sportsmarts a go...imho..they have a nicer feel, cos' the bike tends to turn in easier...but that's probably just my imagination..

Anyhoooo's... I've always thought tyre opinions are a bit like arseholes....everyones got one...

When did the phrase "Ride Out" become popular? Must have been in the 90's as I was out of the country. It makes me cringe every time I see it. What does it even mean? Must be some ****** bike magazine that invented it.

WTF? :confused::rolleyes:

I want to know where that phrase came from, cos' I'd never heard it until I came back to the UK in 97. It wasn't in use when I went away in 90. It just makes me want to spew for some unknown reason. Must be my aversion to the nose-to-tail GS nobheads I see going past my house. They tell me they are on "Ride Outs".

So why hijack this thread, go start your own.

hahah bloody hell fellas....chill out a bit !!
i will get on facebook and tell sean ramsey to come back and sort u all out !

I've just stuck Michelin Power Pures on mine (replacement for the pilot power 2ct's). I knew nothing about them but bought them cos there was a deal on (£199 fitted). I've not done much road riding on them but have used them on one trackday. They've been great, very sticky and predictable, and look like they're gonna last longer than Dunlops I had on before

Yep my rear tyre is totally shot too.....anybody used the metzeler m5 sportec??? Are they any good??

Just seen the above tonight on a custom stretched "busa" in old town Kissimmee, the guy said the rear end cost him $40k to do!! It was well trick, NO2 the works.

I too am in need of a rear tire, the Dragon Super Corsa Pro has only lasted 2,300m! Not a fan of mixing front and rears so will probably just plum for the same again and then change both next time round.

The Dragon is dead, long live the Rosso Corsa instead. I'm assuming it replaced the Dragon, any thoughts on if it's any good?
