Not yet, this is purely the prototype slip-on, this is the Hi-Slung, it fits to the riders footpeg heel plate bracket, rubber mounted.

irateIt's a 60mm bore pipe with the end swaged up to slip straight onto the standard collectors.
It will be same price as RSV4 slip-on £395 stainless/carbon or Ti can.

looks a bit too high slung for me.....think i prefer mine or just a little steeper.
think you need a nice custom black hanger to go with it......might prefer it from a bit further back as the photos a bit close

That is the Hi-Slung, we will also do a normal level version, we don't use hangers it bolts to the riders footpeg heel plate so we keep things uncluttered just like on the V4.

the more i see it the more i like it........good idea about the mounting point....what about if you have rearsets....will it still mount ok?

Given the rsv's tendancy to destroy packing due to the heat pulses i would think you might want to make the can a bit bigger.
Even the best packing money can buy doesn't tend to last all that long on a normal silencer on a single can rsv so i can imagine something that small will get very very noisy very quickly and if not remedied destroy the carbon shell.
I speak from experience. I had a Leo Vinci destroyed in 3k miles and twin system arrows would blow packing out in 4 or 5k and require repacking.
The v4 would be much more forgiving on the packing than a twin

we need to look at the rear sets mounting point, it will work with some kind of adapter, looking into that.
The cost is the same as the V4 as it's basically the same pipe, we will try and keep it down and if we can do it any cheaper we will.

what packing did you use pal??.....i have some laying around from doing my kxf450 pipe.....presume the same stuff's used on sportsbikes pipes?

I tried a few to be honest in terms of longevity and discovered that Arrow and most reputable makes use stuff rated at 1000 degrees for the mille in a blanket form not loose. otherwise it just burns up very quickly.
Much of the stuff around is only rated at 600 or 700 degrees. As most Mille owners will tell you the exhausts can get very very noisy when the packing is gone.
We use normal packing but with a heat resistant mesh and foil and quality carbon, only time will tell but they are certainly built to last.
Guaranteed for 12 months and a re pack is relatively cheap.
The Delkevic pipes look fine but for that price they must be very different from the ones we do. We can't build them for that let alone sell them.

I got some stuff of eBay, it was the blanket type, with stictching vertical and horizontal to hold it together, I dont know what rating it was but its still in there AFAIK after a year. I wrapped it fairly tightly using masking tape to keep it on the centre baffle.
I think anything which helps the Mille look modern can only be a bonus, but I would agree it needs to be appox 50-70mm longer and at less of a kick.
Small exhausts look great, but only if they suit the bike and the Mille is huge!
If you want to corner the market I would suggest aftermarket bodywork, a'la twinshack.com stylee.
They offer the SVX kit for the early SV650 which makes it look much fresher.
Keep the existing side panels but make a replacement nose cose with RSV4 esque lights and a new tail unit.
The Tyga kits for the VFR400 are great inspiration.
Offer the bodywork, lights and exhaust and suddenly people have a cost effective solution of bringing their bikes into the 21st century.
Imagine it- spend £1,000 and it looks like a new bike.
The flog your old plastics on ebay, earn back £200!!!!

It's a fine line with exhausts between looking fresh and gp or just another small type can. This 1 is the hi-slung the other 1 is lower. I have tried the 250mm can but i just think it starts to look like other exhausts and i want this to be bold and in your face. We will take more pics and show the longer can and low level to give you guys the options.
