I need to get a new rear on the Mille as I shredded the Metzeler M1 in under 1500 miles

The trouble I put a new M1 front on 300 mile ago, and dont fancy sticking on other M1 on the rear as Im going up to the TT this year and i dont fancy mixing brands etc.

SO

I was thinking off getting these sent over and put on for the trip to the Isle of man.

Whats you thoughts lads??

They look to have seen a hard time which probably means they have seen quite a few heat cycles.

Chances are the guy selling them is a track day addict or something and they maybe have given their best despite having plenty of rubber left.

If you plan on hooning it around the TT course i wouldn't recommend it myself but if you just want something for mile crunching up motorways or something to get there they might be ok.

Thanks Andi M8

its just to get me to the TT as i want to change to 2CT eventually.

Do you reckon i can stick a 2ct on the back and leave the M1 on the front, bearing in mind that the M1 is very very sticky.

ps and pilot road 2CT are they up to the job on the mille? or should i go balls out on the pilot power?

I use road2's on my rsv. they have enough grip and are excellent in the wet plus great milage, i also have run different brands front and back and had no probs imo, but as in all tyres you need to get used to the way they feel.
