Arai Tour X3 hops on Ewan McGregor bandwagon
First it was BMW, then Davidoff and now Arai has needlessly hitched itself to Ewan McGregor, his ***** mate Charley and their all-expenses-paid, round-the-world holiday. The Arai Tour X3 adventure touring helmet is now available as a Long Way Down replica.
The thing is, the Tour X3 is already one of the best helmets on the market. It offers unique looks and functionality (the Shoei Hornet DS now competes for the adventure market too) combined with features like adjustable ventilation, a removable peak and visor (you can wear it with goggles or without). This new X3 model adds emergency release tab cheek pads, which will help paramedics safely remove your helmet post-accident. Just ask Ewan and Charley, they traveled with their very own EMT, following closely behind in a truck.
