Aprilia Titanium exhaust soundproofing However cartridge

I bought an Aprilia titanium exhaust to replace the standard dustbin exhaust. I wanted lighter (tick in the box) and I wanted louder but I understand from the seller that it is very loud, measured at 105dbA on a track day! That sounds too much & likely to attract unwanted attention from the law. It has a "track day" baffle fitted but that doesn't make much difference. However there is a soundproofing cartridge available as a spare part on the Aprilia Spare parts web site. I have two questions, does any one have any experience of repacking this type of exhaust. If so how should the job be tackled?:devious

Piece of cake
Drill just the heads off the rivots on the bottom end of the can take the strap off then push the last bit of rivet inside the can , pull the can apart which sometimes are a bit tight ,take the old packing sleeve out new one in and rerivot think they are 5.5 or 6 mm

Thanks for the advice, I assume that by the bottom end of the can you mean the pipe entry into the can. I think I will give it a try, just wondering what the sound reduction will be like. Any advice on where I can get correct type of rivets for an exhaust?
