You're a bit good at this stuff aren't you mate. Still waiting for you to produce a batch of those smart res caps.

They look great Uk, are you sure you don't want to make a batch of these for us guys to buy?

NICE :thumbup

Start a thread with all the stuff you make, i'm sure you'll do well on here :devious

Right that's it, I've reported you to the forum moderators for teasing us :nana

You can't expect to put up posts like this and get away with it. :devious

Thanks for your comments guys!

lol, im not trying to tease anyone here, please realise that ive only had my mille for a few months and the bits im making for it have been designed by myself, they need to be proven to work/serve their purpose before i consider making more for anybody else. Any form of feedback i get is food for thought! :thumbup

Does anybody know if the hex is the same on all the mille forks? 22mm.

Olek- i live near St ives mate where you at?

A303- I havent made any rev caps at all yet mate, i think the one's your thinking about is the coolant cap's i made?
Rest assured i am working on this at the mo inbetween work and home life, work is busy at the moment as the racing season has started and we supply the motorsport industry with machined parts.
If i were to make some what exactly do you think would look best? Anodised with the same logo as the coolant caps?

Badger- Like i said above mate im designing and making these parts around work and home life so i dont have heaps of time at it, the preload adjusters took a week for 2 sets, probably 3 hours work including programming. That alternator bracket took over 2 weeks.

Lol Alan i knew you couldnt resist :biggrin

well matey I for one will say youve got one hell of a F***ing talent, the parts you have been making look outstanding!:thumbup

Yes mate, now I remember.
Sorry we all gave you so much hassle but the stuff you make just looks superb.
Keep posting the pics because it's great to see your creations, even if we can't buy them!

Uk, showa forks are 22mm, Ohlins are 17mm

cheers LEGS :thumbup

Think ill need to measure some Ohlins forks, its important i get the correct depth of the hex and also the chamfer that runs from it to the larger diameter that has the mark lines (adjustment guide lines)

Ill work with the info i already have and make some more for showa forks for now, im also keen on getting some clutch and brake rev's caps made, they really should look the business once done.

Any ideas towards these caps before i start are welcome :thumbup

Yeah, I'd like to see some reservoir caps in blue anodised aluminium with the Aprilia lions head etched in to it or the Aprilia logo. :thumbup

On my bike :devious
