Does anybody know of any ex dealers in South Wales. I need to get mine on a diagnostic machine somewhere other than main dealer as My bikies not covered by Main dealer warranty?

Sure there was once somewhere near newport or up the Valleys somwhere!

It's called kick start motorcycles. Apparently they're meant to be very good. I'll have to think about them
For a service if griff can't visit again as my inlaws live down that way

Can't use them coz my new bikes not an official UK import there is no official Aprilia warranty with it I just need it plugging into a diagnostic machine & getting the fault code to inform the dealer I bought it from so he knows which sensor is malfunctioning. Thats why I could do with an ex dealer thats got the kit.

I had my first service with Kickstart in Port Talbot & they were right funny about it not being an official UK bike. Still serviced it though &n got the stamp in the book.

What was the service like?

Ps not an official uk import. What difference does that make though. It's still an aprilia

As I understand the law regarding this, any dealer should be able to carry out warranty work irrespective of where it came from.
Don't let them fob you off with bollox, your paying for it.
Give Griff a call and ask him, or take it to the dealer you got it from and tell him to give you a call when it's fixed.

Dealer I got it forms in Wigan approx 200 miles away not exactly on my doorstep which is why I'm looking for somewhere more local to diagnose the fault for the dele in wigan to see th bike having to go away.(will probably hv to anyway.)

Any warranty work carried out by the main dealer would be chargeable.

You only ever get 23mpg whatever you ride

Current osterity measures mean that I only now accelerate to 1/2 throttle before changing gear, freewheel downhill & don't go above 55mph. Hoping for more than 23mpg.

Currently my fire blade is the most efficient mode of transport in the garage.

Dealers have organised a warranty pik up hopefully next week sometime!

Just been out on the fireblade nearly 200 miles average fuel consumption 51mpg spirited A & B road riding. Got some great roads for the Fud Fest. would be a good idea to post on this channel as well.
