Anyone know of someone who could be trusted to do a good job replacing the headstock bearings on my RSV in the north lincolnshire area? MOT is up and they have already been tightened up 3 or 4 months ago so I'm guessing they need replacing.

silly I know but its not a hard job if you do it yourself, I did mine a few weeks ago and it was a bit of a pain (I hit my hand when I was putting in the new bearings lol).
The only problem I had was getting the old bearing off the stem but there is 2 points to put wedges in to lift it.

I`ll help you if not try Dave Hedison Motorcycles in Brigg. Mention Stu (me) and Dave will sort you out. PM me if your interested i`ll give him a call for ya.

I'd recommend "Shed 25" in Scunthorpe. Pete's a top bloke who used to be in the garage side of BSB. :thumbup

It's good seeing North Lincs owners come out of the woodwork!

been here a while but just been too busy at work lately!!

The biggest problem I have is supporting the front end as I only have a front paddock stand that goes under the forks and I also dont have the correct socket/tool to torque them up correctly, thanks stl I think I'll give them a bell or just call in.
