Anyone heard of Delkevic exhausts?

I was doing my usual perusing of Fleabay and someone has multiple Delkevic exhausts listed in different finishes and configurations. They look nice in the pics but that can be deceiving. The price seems to good to be true so it probably is, right? I guess my questions are as follows. :dunno
1) Does the design generate performance improvements?
2) How well do they fit?
3) How do they sound?
4) How well does the finish hold up?
I had a Micron Carbon fiber that cracked where the strap clamps on. A Leo Vince that the finish went to complete **** after just a short time.
And an Aprilia Racing TI that I am still kicking myself for selling off. It sounded amazing and looked like ***!

my brother bought some delklevic for his dare i (fazer 600) they came nice and shiny but tarnished very quickly, he also said they made the bike slower , (something to do with them not having the balance flues like his standard fazer ones) and drank a lot more juice, hence they didnt last a month on his bike and they were back off, not sure what they will be like on a mille mind , cheap and chatty he thought , but thats just one oppinion

I hear the are part of DK Motorcycles, And some say there arent much cop.

I looked at getting one for mine, But they are just thrown together and they are fine for cheap noise, The link pipe is really thin to, And i cant see it making any power gains, Well maybe alittle as the stock one isnt to good.

Havent heard any bad comments on the exhaust cans, But the systems i hear are poo!.

buy yourself akrapovic sp, mate lasting finish sound great,

I think we all would if money were no object but they are expensive as hell. Them or Arrows would be my first choice but I can't afford either. Trying to score or a bargain or I'll keep holding out.

Thought I would add something fellas, as I just purchased a Delkevic titanium stubby for my Mille....................

At first the quality is pretty good, the stubby which I opted for is only 350mm and looks much better than the 450mm.

With the DB killer in its pretty lame, however running without it actually has a nice deep note without being TOOOO loud....

Performance wise it doesnt seem too bad, although I was running an EVO 65mm link pipe, most are around 60mm. The Delkevic runs to 50mm so is a little more restrictive getting the gasses out, however its not too bad I found and throttle response is still good.

I have only done a 10klm stint, bike is back in for some other mods, I will test the pipe better shortly. Looks, quality and sound on par with Scorpion so FARRRRRR...................only gripe is the smallish 50mm link pipe.

Cheers Pete

PS: For the money I cant complain :devious

I agree. Sounds, looks, cost are all good. Had mine fitted about 2 months, covered couple of hundred miles with no probs. Like pipe has tainted/discoloured a little bit but not bad.

:dougMe & Kawasakinnitt have Delekevics & fitted Akrapovic stickers over Delkevic signs and nobody on rideouts have noted the difference,,,,,, took bike to D&K where i bought it from new and fitted the pair for £199,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, see on mine and Kawas pics

untill they look on the end of the can and it doesnt say akrapovic etched into it :nana

I have them on my 2007.5 rsvr and I love them they look and sound great and for the cost I would highly recommend them.
