Anyone got a standard can I can borrow please?

Hi,

My Mille has been in the garage on SORN for the winter and now she wants to come out and play.

Only problem is that my current cans have "race use only" stamped on them and I do not have the standard can.

Anyone got one I can borrow for the MOT please? Somewhere neaar Basingstoke would be the best, but I am willing to travel or cover postage costs.

Alternatively hints to get it throught he MOT with the current cans on would be appreciated!!

I currently have twin high-level Renegade cans, so I think I may need the link pipe too?

minare from a 10 plate tuono so link pipe needed they should go straight on with standard hangers

what the tester will be checking apart from general condition and security are the following two items-

2. A silencer which is in such a condition or is of such a type that the noise emitted is clearly in excess of that which would be produced by a similar machine fitted with a standard silencer in average condition.

3. A silencer marked 'NOT FOR ROAD USE', TRACK USE ONLY' or similar words.

Alu tape or polishing will help with item 3 but not item 2 this comes down to the testers opinion

Just bought some DB killers and will try the Alu tape first, wish me luck!

I just put black insulation tape over mine and the tester chose to ignore it.
