Just seeing what the aprilia presence is like locally. Very rare I see one.

Really? and where do you hail from?
Unfortunately morning riding isnt my thing! :whatsthat
And I havent been to box hill ofr ages. not since the police made it non fun, and the a24 became I hunting ground for them :roll

I'm from East Grinstead & my mate with a RSV who's not on the forum is from Ardingly. Usually 4 or 5 of us out & we mainly go to Bury hill then sometimes on to Newlands Point but with Goodwood going on today thought we would give the area a miss.

Ah well bury hill is my local coffee spot. You ride the 272 i`m guessin?

Yeah, to petworth then the 285, sweet bit of road. Then back up to Bury

Yeah used to be my fav bit of road, had an awesome race with a GT3 up there once. But lost a good friend on it in 08, and only ridden it once since :/

brighton town.. seen a nice tuono round here, and a rsv..i have a 2001 rsv mille .. dont post much here - but read every day - beats working!!!.. nick

Another Nick, how confusing!
Where abouts do you ride?
Know anyone that might want a 2008 R6!? lol

hi mate..

spend most of my time going to ldn and back. .

but just spent 10 days in the spanish pyranees (if thats how you spell it) , that was amazing and the mille was absolutely perfect.. luckily just had the thermostat fixed as weather was so hot, 40 degree going thru bilbao , felt like the bikes were on fire..
perfect roads though..
id love a second bike but im 6 foot 4. .so a r6 is a little too small..but i do fancy a 04/5 fireblade..
i dont really do any riding just for fun, but i am thinking of looking into trackdaying - would be good to learn to drive better..

You dont do any riding just for fun!? Why else would you ride?? lol
Yeh you cant beat europe for roads! Been to france a couple of times.

Wouldnt recommend that shape blade myself, abit dull to ride, and deck out really soon on track apparently. R1`s are good for big fellas, and alot more fun! Saying that the R6 actually feels bigger to sit on than either of my previous R1`s! and its taller lol My mate is 6`3 and he looks right on it.

Oh you mean London?? On a mille?? you could found a more economical commuter surely?

hahaha - every rides fun - specially on this bike - just i usually have a destination, work or london etc.. never really go out just for a spin.. france - is great done 2000 miles there last summer down to nice - route napolian .. this year done san sabastian to tremp through pyranees..
and yes london - i dont work there, but visiting friends family etc. though certainly cant mention my bike in the same sentence as economy..

I`m finding that out (economy bit)
We found amazing rounds souteast of st etienne, I am planning a return, there was a road that was 33miles of knee to knee twisties. I posted a vid of it on here i think dunno if you saw it? Yeh think our trip was 2-3k, was right down to monico then messed about in the middle where the roads are.

I must get out to Europe more, its just finding the cash! last time I probably did a grand in all!

I dont go for a spin much lately as I`m starting up a business, hence broke! but if your about we should meet up with some of the others guys sometime, maybe all get together for a winter spainish track trip!

Hiya, another Nik from West Sussex, this time over towards Handcross.
Ah France...(goes all misty eyed) fond memories of Grass to Draguignan road just west of Cannes. In fact, just about anywhere in the SoF is great on a bike. Every Col in & out of Italy or Der Schweitz is also worth going for too. We stopped at the Nurburgring a couple of times too.
S'funny, I ride mostly to London, but to commute and who cares about fuel consumption?
