Spotted or 2 or 3 RSV's up there and followed one of them back down (DX56...)

I was up there today about 10:30am red 2003 Mille

had a fantastic day out 250 miles in all set off at 7am from Halifax with 2 blades and an R1

NIck

About the same time as me, We set back just after then. I was with a KTM, Gixer, Blade, and a couple of BMW trailie type things.

Definately wasnt you I followed down though.

Unfortunately not me mate, mine is still in a box. Hope you had a good ride out, I was talking to BIG Paul the other day said he had met you. When I get mine sorted we will all have to have a run out, we are both doing a track day at Teeside autodrome on 15th July £75 if you fancy it.

Im going down there on the 6th for a rally drive so will have a bit think. I think the other lads will be interested in that.

Downside of today was I didnt glue my new grips and the throttle spins round like you wouldnt believe. Really off putting

I think Ive been go karting here a few years ago, I didnt realise they did track days as well.

Grips - pinch your missus hairspray. Works a treat, helps them slide on then when it drys it glues them on too. Just put mine on and they're rock solid. Trackday - get yersel there, will be a right laugh!

Yep come on Andy, will be a good day and if I dont pull my finger out and get one of these RSV's put back together you can take the piss out of me running round the track.

Ive never done a track day before I'm just a bit nervous that I bin it. Then again I suppose you go at your own level

I suspect if you ring them during the course of this week you might get the day for £50. They're good for doing that apparently. I paid the full whack to guarantee the place and compared to normal its cheap anyway. If its your first time, this might be the ideal track, small so the speeds aren't manic and not many people know of it so it'll probably be quiet (until a load of Milles turn up). Like you say, go at your own pace. I'm not one of the quick guys and love it!

Yep, as Paul said ideal first track. You dont need to be the quickest out there to have fun either, you will love it Andy.

Im going to give it a bit thought and even if I dont do it this time I will definately come down and take a look.

Ive also just realised I've spelt Hartside wrong and I cant edit it!! DOH!!!!!
