Hello, need to find out how many links for a Tuolder chain is. I found the length but that dont mean squat to me as have no way to measure the spare Ive got. Counted links and have 105 without master link. Thankyou for your time.

Well I suppose u could put a bit of string around your chain straighten it then measure the string with a tape

Yessir you are correct. I changed over to 15/42 and already had a chain in the garage but had forgotten it. Bought a new one for nothing.:banghead Oh well:dunno

Awe right WC min...let's ken yer thoughts oan the 15/42 combo compared wi standard once ye huv tootled aboot a few miles or so.....

Rico Well sir, I know its smoother in town. Dont "hunt" for the proper gear. Its great on the open road as it pulls much harder when you want it to. Passing? You got it. Instant response? You got it. In the lower gears itll loft the front no problem. But I have yet to break the wheel out coming out of a corner. I know enough to allow the bike to push you out then get in the throttle. At freeway speeds it does rev higher, by how much i dont know. I will say this, it was worth it to me. I do have to wonder how 15/41 would be. Maybe a wash or just a touch tamer as far as freeway revs. This is my evaluation after 230 miles. Yeah, been ridin the piss out of it since I got it. I know I like it a whole lot more since sprocky change.
