Cheers Lads

Would i have to cut the fairings?

any pics of twin old setups?

Cheers garv Dude!!!
Does look rather smart, I would need another exhaust hanger i spose.

Another Hanger and a little bit cut out but would look F'ing ace. If I can find some nice cans for the right price then I will get the falco headers :) cheaper option

Tim, like mkw said you're missing once of the header pipes that fit to the rear head or is it just not pictured? But yep like garvey said you'll need to try and find a set of decent cans which are a bit like hens teeth, but a twin setup look the muttsnutts

I got a spare set of falco headers to sell.....yeah bit of topic but yes they look like falco headers, the front downpipe is slightly different to the rsv but will fit (matched mine up on my bike the rear fitted but needed to change the front downpipe for the falco downpipe)

You will need to cut the left handside belly pan there is another post on here with a pic of the template arkapovic supply with theirs, easy job did mine with a junior hacksaw and file ( I fitted arka twin system) I have seen some nice falco end cans going on ebay in past. They seem to sell for around £80 -£100 a pair keep checking on ebay.

If you can find me some nice cans for that price I will buy your header :):devious

They are from a Falco, I have a set and I use twin Akrapovic exhausts with them. Well most of the time I use the full race Aprilia Comp exhausts with the Ape chip:doug, for MOT's I use the original exhaust and for touring [well holidays] the twin Akrapovic system [with the pipes you show]. it gives a smooth and broad power delivery which is OK for long distance work but gives less power. The original is good with a comp chip, but the best is the Ape Comp Exhaust - loads of power, bit like a 4 but with more torque
NOW ......... WHAT WAS THE QUESTION??:exclamation
Oh yes, you will need to trim the fairing - 2 seconds with a grinder!!:biggrin
ps: mine is a 2000 R

Here you go Phill, a How to Guide. If you're asking about putting an avatar up then go to your profile (its called user CP at the top of the page) and follow the instructions, they're pretty straight forward.
