Well fellas,

Fresh off the back of finishing (****, no I havent) project orange, I have picked up another project, this time for the track only.

After seeing the youtube video of çan a 1500 quid bike beat a GSXR1000 K6 around caddy I thought the choice was simple, so this dirt cheap thingy you see now goes in for tinkering, and gets parts from project orange to boot :biggrin

And heres what I want the track bike to look like at the moment, however if anything like the RSV things will change around 8045 times before its finished

Its the 750, gotta be honest, it still pumps out enough go for such an old bike, LOVE IT and gonna make it a pearler :)

No probs, wont start for a month so got plenty of time on this one. If he has a website or something where I can nick some handy tips please let me kwow. Bike cost so little, unlike project orange (which now requires sprag) I am trying for the best money cant buy :)

Cool project Ozmille - good to see a classic being restored to be used as intended. I have fond memories of the Yamaha OW01 750 dominating our local racing in the late '80s.

Thanks bud, I love the RSV but cant fathom the thought of it going down the road at PI , this bike was the bike of my era (hey we all get old) but I just love em. Hoping (with more than luck) to pick up a 2nd YZF 750 in the next week to do a BIG BORE YZF as well. We'll have to see how that pans out, would love a ZX7R as well, nothing better than seeing these old girls fly past newer machinery around the track, NOTHING BETTER :)
