Another Newbie

I love my Aprilia but what a pain in the arse! Only had the bike 6 months and its let me down three times. :angry Can anyone please tell me when they turn the ignition on does the tacho sweep to 6000rpm and then back to rest? Any info would be appreciated as the bike refuses to start and I have no spark and no fuel.

It will go to 6 k if your the battery has been out or clocks reset due to low voltage..then the light will come on at 6k revs

Started cutting out and misfiring. wouldn't rev and even cut out on the track. Now I have the non start issue. I live in Sittingbourne but the bike is currently in Maidstone at a friends workshop.:roll

Problem solved. Found water ingress in the wiring loom to the crank sensor. Bit of a clean up with electrical cleaner and boom, up and running again. :biggrin
