Brave you must be.......... GOOD LUCK.....................

Was they cheap?

Why didn't you go for BT016's or 2CT's Scott?

(Tried and tested mate)

Seem to remember reading about them in a tyre test a while back, I think they said they were ok as cheap track tyres. Just depends on what make carcass they mould on ,and how good a condition it was in. :dunno

The Mille will give them a pretty good test I'm sure, I'd keep a close eye on them tho'

Think they made them in different colours to, remember seeing some lurid Kawasaki green ones on sale last year at the G-Mex show.

I once saw a review, they tested this tyre on a mille and falco on the track, i think it was road to atlanta(something like that). Conclusion was that the tyre did preaty good on track for a street tyre, so cant be all that bad :)

Road Atlanta is an american track isn't it? Don't think I'd put a lot of faith in one of their writeups, even more advertiser driven than our own.

It was one of the more irreverent magazines I saw them being tested in possibly Performance Bike , Superbike not sure now.

They did say it all depends on what type and condition carcass they re- mould on to. At the time they were about half the price of the Corsa type tyres so were seen as good value for tearing up on trackdays, don't know how they would fare on the road.

This was a year or more back a lot can change in that time ?????

nowt wrong with maxxis. Not that well known(yet) in the road bike world but they're top end gear for mountain bikes and Motox. TT marshals are running them(they're the main sponsor for the TT) and Guy martin ragged a set back to back with Corsa pro's for a mag test a while back and rated them highly.

2 factors to this.

1. Budget
2. Best tyres I can get for the money

The reviews look good and I fancy being a little bit "brave" as well, well feck it I aint got no money , my jobs about to be outsourced and Im working 60 hour weeks so I figure what have I got to lose ?.

Yes, Guy Martin tested them in Performance Bikes a few months back, if you want the article PM me, I'll dig it out and post it up if required.
